Sze Hing Loong Corn Roll

When I was a kid, one of my all-time favorite snacks was this Sze Hing Loong spicy corn roll. Because it felt like a little taste of home. My grandma was an amazing cook who loved preparing spicy dishes. Not the numbing, peppercorn Sichuan kind of spicy, but the kind that came from chili and chili oil – flavorful, warm, and comforting. That’s probably why spicy flavors became my most comfortable taste for Chinese food.

Not just the spicy flavour, the sweetness from corn and the crispy yet flurry texture made them so yummy! Of course, spicy flavour was always my first pick. What’s yours?

There were actually three flavors? Spicy, curry, and what? Do you remember?
